I recently had the pleasure of staying at Casas Da Villa in Monsanto and I was absolutely blown away. The moment I stepped into the historic village, I felt like I had been transported back in time. The deep sense of history and charm that surrounded me was truly enchanting. The house itself was perfect, with a host that went above and beyond to make sure my stay was comfortable. I couldn't have asked for a better environment to immerse myself in the old-world atmosphere.
One drawback I experienced during my stay was the pricing of the restaurants and local stores. As a Portuguese tourist, I found them to be a bit expensive.

Amazing view from the terrace and a charming atmosphere in the village. Loved exploring the narrow streets and having a delicious dinner at a local restaurant. The locals were friendly and made us feel welcome.
The steep roads and paths were a challenge, especially when carrying luggage. No assistance was offered and navigating the area was confusing.

We loved the charming and historic atmosphere of the village. The apartment's unique design and incorporation of natural rocks was impressive. The location in the heart of the historical center allowed us to easily explore the maze of narrow streets and stairs. The comfortable bed and well-equipped kitchenette were perfect for those taking off early. The delivered breakfast, with its French-style offerings of cakes, honey, jams, and fresh fruits, was a delightful start to the day.
We felt very well during our stay and had nothing to complain about.

This place is absolutely mind-blowing! From its unique location in the historic center to the modern and comfortable apartment embedded in the rocks, everything was super IMPRESSIVE. The fully equipped kitchenette, the cozy bed, and the functional bathroom carved into the rock shelves were jaw-dropping. The in-room breakfast essentials and fresh bread delivered to our door were a delightful surprise. We also enjoyed hiking up the steep cobbled streets to explore the fascinating village of Monsanto. An unforgettable experience for a young-adult travel adventure!

I recently stayed at Casas Da Villa in Monsanto and had a wonderful experience. The location of the hotel in the historical center of the village was enchanting, with narrow streets and stone stairs adding to the charm. The apartment itself was beautifully designed, embedded between rocks and incorporated raw rocks into the furniture. The room was spacious and well-equipped, with a comfortable bed and a functional bathroom. The breakfast provided was delicious, with a French-style continental selection and fresh bread delivered daily. The WiFi was also reliable. Despite the steep journey to the house, the views from the hotel were absolutely magnificent. I highly recommend Casas Da Villa for a unique and memorable stay.

Casas Da Villa is nestled in the beautiful village of Monsanto, surrounded by stunning mountain views. It is conveniently located near the castle and several restaurants, making it an ideal spot for exploring the area. The room is modern and comfortable, with unique features like raw rock furniture in the bathroom and kitchenette. The breakfast provided is delicious, with a wide selection of sweet treats and fresh bread delivered to your door.
The narrow and steep streets of the village can make it tricky to navigate by car, and finding parking can be a challenge.
